Covered call trades can be executed by “legging-in” which is buying the stock and selling the call option in 2 distinct trades. This podcast will discuss another way to enter a covered call trade using a “buy-write combination form” where the 2 legs are executed simultaneously using a “net debit limit order” A real-life example with MDC will be used to highlight the process.
